I’m pleased to give you Episode 5 of the Lowering The Tone podcast.
This time round I have a great Interview with Lee Rous, one half of the mighty Plump DJ’s, who kindly took some time out to travel down to sunny suburbia to shoot the breeze in my front room for a few hours (I must use the word ‘Interview’ loosely as it really is nothing more than a laid back chat between friends). Lee gives a humorous & honest account of his time in music. It’s refreshing and inspiring to hear producers of this calibre sharing their experiences and laying all to bare.
I will continue to bring you these intimate chats for as long as I can, and if you wish to contribute something to the show you can email me on Mark@loweringthetone.london.
On a slightly different note, I have been racking my brains as to how to float this podcast and also get some new equipment so I am able to give you a more professional show. This is what I have come up with;
I have two tracks ready and waiting for you called 'Bang 100!' & ‘When You’re Alone'. These two downtempo tracks part of an album project exclusive to Bandcamp.
I wanted to do something slightly different and a real love of mine. You can pay what you want and all profits will go to subsidising Lowering The Tone
If you have no cash to spare then you can take them for free as a gift. All I ask is that you please spread the word by simply sharing links.
You can get the track here : https://meatkatie.bandcamp.com/album/bang-100-when-your-alone
Thank you for your ongoing support and I hope you enjoy the music,
Let me know your thoughts.
