Aloha my friends,
For some reason this episode of Lowering The Tone has taken a lot longer than previous ones and I apologise for that- I explain why in the show.
Anyhow, it’s here now and waiting for you to download. Well over two hours of music and chat, and as always, please get involved and give me a helping hand with the promo where and when you can. So this episode I have the one and only Matt Goddard AKA Dopamine, in conversation we talk about him moving to the UK from Australia, winning awards, wine & food, Techno & Breaks amongst lots of other things- an extremely talented person with one hell of a sense of humour and as you will notice, what the interview lacks in direction it makes up for in laughs.
Music wise expect a walk on the wild side.

I’m pleased to give you Episode 5 of the Lowering The Tone podcast.
This time round I have a great Interview with Lee Rous, one half of the mighty Plump DJ’s, who kindly took some time out to travel down to sunny suburbia to shoot the breeze in my front room for a few hours (I must use the word ‘Interview’ loosely as it really is nothing more than a laid back chat between friends). Lee gives a humorous & honest account of his time in music. It’s refreshing and inspiring to hear producers of this calibre sharing their experiences and laying all to bare.
I will continue to bring you these intimate chats for as long as I can, and if you wish to contribute something to the show you can email me on Mark@loweringthetone.london.
On a slightly different note, I have been racking my brains as to how to float this podcast and also get some new equipment so I am able to give you a more professional show. This is what I have come up with;

Sorry for the delay in getting this episode out, I self produce the show and do everything on my own so it takes a while to put all the elements in place, it's been really slow going over the Xmas period but I'm there now and i'm proud to give you Episode 4 of Lowering The Tone featuring a candid interview with an old friend of mine Lee Coombs we get a little insight into his fascination with Acid House, 303's & moog synthesizer's amongst other things.

So here is my first full blown podcast, I think It's a good example of my taste and what I am about, I managed to squeeze in an interview with a good friend Micah Black (From Black & Blunt) while he was in the UK although I had had a few drinks so it was a bit sloppy to say the least (I will work on my interviewing techniques)
